I do not live in New York and wonder if the movie will be released soon for individuals, since I can not afford the institutional price. I have just finished an article about "Soy andina", which is in print in Peru and will be presented in Miami at the conference on film in April 2010. "La americana" may feet into this project of extending my studies on Andean immigrant documentary in a book format. Anything you can do for helping me with this project would be greatly appreciated.
